TRADE NIVESH: Media shares were trading higher in Friday's afternoon session.
Shares of Sun TV Network (up 3.70 per cent), Den NetworksNSE 3.53 % (up 3.67 per cent), Zee Media Corporation (up 3.33 per cent) and Network 18 Media & Investments (up 1.59 per cent) were the top performers in the index.
TV18 Broadcast (up 1.43 per cent), PVRNSE 0.26 % (up 0.74 per cent), Jagran Prakashan (up 0.63 per cent) and Inox Leisure (up 0.03 per cent) too were trading with gains.
The Nifty Media index was trading 0.68 per cent up at 2485.40 around 02:23 pm.
Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was up 31.70 points at 11,601.70 while the BSE Sensex was up 97.81 points at 38,643.53.
