Share market update: Realty shares bullish; Godrej Properties jumps 4%

Trade Nivesh: Realty shares were trading higher in Wednesday's morning session with their sectoral index trading with gains. 

Shares of Godrej Properties (up 4.56 per cent), Indiabulls Real EstateNSE 3.26 % (up 3.21 per cent), Brigade Enterprises (up 3.09 per cent) and DLF (up 2.32 per cent) were trading with gains. 

Prestige Estates Projects (up 1.75 per cent), Sunteck Realty (up 1.02 per cent), Oberoi RealtyNSE 0.95 % (up 0.95 per cent) and Sobha (up 0.07 per cent) too were trading higher. 

The Nifty Realty index was trading 1.85 per cent up at 263.80 around 11:34 am. 

Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was up 5.90 points at 11,538.30 while the BSE Sensex was up 68.21 points at 38431.68. 

Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 19 were trading in the green, while 31 were in the red. 

Shares of BHEL, Indian Oil Corp, Bank of Baroda, ONGC, NTPC, Infosys, SBI, BEL and ITC were among the most traded shares on the NSE.
