Trade Nivesh : The BSE Power index was trading higher in Tuesday's session. as well as Intraday Up Index Nifty Bank, Nifty Fin Services, Nifty Media, Nifty PSU Bank, Nifty PVT Bank, Nifty Realty
Shares of Adani Power (up 5.73 per cent), Adani TransmissionNSE -1.52 % (up 5.72 per cent), JSW EnergyNSE -0.14 % (up 3.13 per cent) and Reliance Infrastructure (up 2.07 per cent) were the top performers in the index.
Tata Power Company (up 1.70 per cent), KEC International (up 1.48 per cent), NTPC (up 0.91 per cent) and CESC (up 0.61 per cent) too were trading in the green.
The S&P BSE Power index was trading 0.73 per cent up at 2132.20 around 11:45 am.
Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was down 32 points at 11,833.60 while the BSE Sensex was down 125.20 points at 39,561.30.
Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 18 were trading in the green, while 32 were in the red.
